Greenhouse gases such as Carbon Dioxide, Nitrous Oxide and Methane Gases naturally blanket the Earth and regulate its temperature. Unfortunately, since the "Industrial Age", the amount of these gases in the atmosphere has increased by as much as 150%. The major reason for such a sharp increase in these gases is the huge demand we have on burning fossil fuels for energy production and transportation. Because there is such an abundance of these gases in the atmosphere, our average yearly temperature has risen approximately 2 degrees Fahrenheit.
